Good morning! Welcome to this Monday Moments with M. G. I hope this has been an amazing week for you, the reader. It has been an exciting week with the delivery of Fossils: A Dorchester Sisters Novel to The Last Bookstores and all of their locations. Thank you to Steven Smith our partner at Dream Productions for helping make that possible. Thank you, of course to The Last Bookstore for seeing the potential and being willing to shelve us. Also Keep an eye out at the end of this week because Antiquities A Dorchester Sisters Novel will be out.

At the same time, the first five books in our new children’s series, Dexter and Dixie’s Grandparent Adventures, will be available to purchase in the next few weeks. I hope your kids and their grandparents will love reading the series, separately and together. There will be more to tell in the coming weeks, but just know that the kid co-authors that I wrote them with, Liam and Zoey, had a blast writing together and we can’t wait to bring you the next five of this adventurous children’s series early in the fall.

Spring has always been a time of renewal and growth and here at MG Lorraine it seems to be doing exactly that growing every day. We are thankful for you as you log into us and chat on social media, visit with us at book clubs, come to meet with me at events, watch and follow us on Podcasts (coming soon), and email. I am honored by your interest, your enthusiasm, your patronage, comments, and your engagement as an author is the highest privilege to have you, the reader so interested in the work. Every day, I’m aware that you have other places you could spend your money and your time, with that in mind, I try at every opportunity to be aware of the gift you give every time you read a line, share a thought, take time to engage by writing an email or leaving a review. Thank you!

I just confirmed that we will be in Dade City, Florida, at Fiction Fest on September 19-20, so get your tickets soon. If we can work it out we are hoping to have both the kid co-authors and the tween co-authors available for other events during that time period. So keep an eye on the website at www.mglorraine.com.

My mom always used to say: “To bloom where you’re planted.” I’ve often thought it was incredible advice. We don’t always get to be where we want to be, but we should always bloom where we are planted. So wherever you are, and whatever is going on this week, I hope you can bloom the most amazing bloom possible.
