Good morning, readers! There is so much happening at M. G. Lorraine Media right now, and I am beyond excited to finally share more of it with you. If you have been waiting for Antiquities: A Dorchester Sisters Novel, thank you for your patience. We did run into a few glitches along the way, but the good news is that it will officially be ready in the next few weeks.
Antiquities follows Jennifer Dorchester, an antiquities lawyer in Denver who works between museums and clients to make sure contracts are solid, everyone is protected, and priceless pieces end up where they belong. But when a rare shabti vanishes on its way to a museum in Luxor, Egypt, Jennifer knows this is no ordinary disappearance. She heads to Egypt to investigate and soon meets Gregorio Uberti, an antiquities lawyer and investigator sent by her father to help find the missing artifact and keep her safe. If you enjoyed reading Fossils, I think you are going to love stepping into the adventure of Antiquities.
At the same time, I have also been writing children’s chapter books with my great niece and nephew. The first five books in the Dexter & Dixie Grandparent Adventure series are almost ready, and I cannot wait for families to meet these two. The books have been in prerelease for about a month and will be available for sale soon.
Dexter and Dixie are eight and a half and six, and their adventures unfold while they are spending time with their grandparents. This series was created to celebrate the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren, especially as so many children today are being raised by their grandparents. We wanted to give those families stories filled with fun, heart, laughter, and adventure. And yes, we already have ideas for about sixty more titles!
And as if that were not exciting enough, I am also getting ready to write with two of my teenaged great nieces. Together, they are building a tween and teen horse mystery series centered around two cousins and their friend Julia. I am thrilled to begin officially writing this series with them, and we hope to have it ready by the end of summer.
People sometimes ask me why I write with teen and kid co-authors, and the answer is simple: I am having an absolute blast. They bring fresh ideas, big imaginations, and so much joy to the process. Even more than that, writing with them helps build a legacy. It encourages young authors to believe their stories matter and reminds them that they do not have to wait to begin creating.
M. G. Lorraine, M. G. Lorraine Media, M. G. Lorraine Kids, and M. G. Lorraine Teens are all part of that growing legacy. My hope is to continue offering readers of every age something exciting, meaningful, and memorable to enjoy—and, of course, to keep you coming back for more.
There are so many choices out there for your reading time, and I am truly grateful that you choose to spend some of it with our stories. No matter your age, I hope we continue to bring you books you love, characters you remember, and adventures you are excited to share.
Keep an eye out and get ready to reserve your copies these new adventures are almost here, and I cannot wait for to read them! We will release preorder links soon!
Until Next time,
