Monday Moments with M. G. #28 Behind the Scenes, New Books, Events, and More!

Happy Monday, friends, and welcome back to another edition of Monday Moments with M. G. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind in the very best, busiest kind of way, and I am so excited to finally sit down with you and share what has been happening behind the scenes.

#TeamMGL has been hard at work polishing author copies, correcting those final little details, setting up the kids’ website, and building out the merch store on Shopify so everything is ready for you when we open the doors.

There is so much happening in M. G.’s corner of the world right now, and we want to make sure you know where we will be, what we are working on, and how you can be part of the fun.

On the writing side, I have also been busy with Sequins: A Dorchester Sisters Novel, the third book in the trilogy. Once Sequins is finished, I will be jumping into the first two books in our tween mystery series with my teen co-authors. After that, we will begin working on the next five kids’ chapter books, and I will also be starting the Dorchester Family Legacy series.

There is a lot of storytelling ahead, and I am grateful every day that you are along for this publishing journey with us.

If you are new to M. G. Lorraine, welcome. While fiction is not the only thing I have written, M. G. Lorraine is the pen name I use just for fiction. It gives us a fresh place to meet as readers and storyteller, without the noise of opinions, preferences, lifestyles, or backgrounds getting in the way. It lets us gather on even ground and simply enjoy great literature together.

My first work in adult romantic suspense, Fossils: A Dorchester Sisters Novel, is out now. The second book, Antiquities, had a small formatting issue that should be resolved soon, and it will be released shortly. The third book, Sequins, is my current writing project. We hope to have all of these great reads available in 2026.

All five of the children’s books are live and available at Lulu. We are also working on getting them available everywhere else, so keep your eyes open for links as they go up on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers.

We are also looking ahead to Fiction Fest, Books and Chocolate in Hershey, several podcast opportunities, and a new series of live events where you can connect with us directly, ask questions, and join the conversation. On top of that, we are gearing up to launch our own podcast while continuing to plan both kids’ events and more adult-focused gatherings.

We want to make sure you know where M. G. and the team will be, so you can grab tickets, mark your calendars, and come say hello. Our merch stores will also be launching soon, and we cannot wait to share what we have been creating.
