Monday Moments with M. G. #37: Sequins Is Finished!

Happy Monday, friends, and welcome back to another edition of Monday Moments with M. G. I hope your week is starting with a little peace, a little purpose, and maybe a warm cup of something cozy nearby, because this week I have some very exciting book news to share with you.
Sequins: A Dorchester Sisters Novel is officially finished! This third and final book in the Dorchester Sisters trilogy has carried so much heart, history, family legacy, and emotion, and I am so grateful for every moment it took to bring the story together with care. I know many of you have been waiting for this last chapter of the Dorchester Sisters’ journey, and I cannot wait for you to read it.
Of course, the creative calendar never stands still for long. I have already started writing the first two books in our new tween series for readers ages 12 to 14, written alongside my wonderful teenage girl co-authors, and I love that it gives young voices a seat at the storytelling table. Once those are complete, I will move into the next five kids’ books and begin the Dorchester Family Legacy series. There is a lot of storytelling ahead, and each project has its own special purpose.
On the team front, #TeamMGL is spread across three different states and two time zones, and even those of us in the same state rarely share the same weather. So this week, we decided to take a peek out our windows. Here in Indiana, I woke up to the first frost of the season, while Carole, just a few miles away, was enjoying sunshine. Down in Florida, Stef was watching a hurricane roll through. Jamie got to see the first snowfall in the mountains, a whopping 16 inches, and Crystal had a true Colorado mix of rain, wind, and a few chilly days. Five windows, five completely different views, and one team working together to bring you great stories.
Wherever you are this week, whether you are bundled up against the frost, soaking up the sun, or waiting out the storm, I hope you stay safe, stay warm, and find a little time to curl up with a good book. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and kindness as we keep writing, creating, and sharing these stories with you. I cannot wait to keep growing this community with you, one Monday Moment at a time.
Until next time,
