Monday Moments 33

Happy Monday, friends, and welcome back to another edition of Monday Moments with M. G. We have been busy behind the scenes, working hard to make sure every book reaches as many readers as possible across every platform. Thank you for your continued support, patience, encouragement, and excitement as each title makes its way into the world.

If you have loved one of the books, one of the most meaningful ways you can help is by leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads. Reviews help new readers discover the stories, support the visibility of each title, and remind our team that the work is reaching the people it was created for.

We are also getting ready to head to Fiction Fest in Florida, and we would love to see you there. If you have not gotten your tickets yet, please visit Fictiva Fiction Fest Event Landing Page | Fictiva and make your plans to join us for a weekend of stories, creativity, and connection.

For those who are new here, M. G. Lorraine is the pen name I use for fiction. It gives readers and storyteller a fresh place to meet, away from the noise of opinions, preferences, lifestyles, or backgrounds. Here, we gather on common ground and enjoy the power of story together.

#TeamMGL has been hard at work on the important details that turn ideas into finished books. We have been polishing author copies, checking final files, making corrections where needed, preparing the kids’ website, and building the merch store on Shopify so everything will be ready when the doors open. It may not always look glamorous from the outside, but this steady behind-the-scenes work is what helps every launch feel thoughtful, organized, and ready for readers.

The first five kids’ books are now live on Lulu and are beginning to appear on other platforms, including Amazon. Since this season brings so many families back into school routines, these books make wonderful gifts for young readers ages 6-11. They are also a great fit for classroom libraries, birthday surprises, homeschool shelves, and family reading time.

On the adult fiction side, Fossils: A Dorchester Sisters Novel is out now, and Antiquities is beginning to go live as well. Antiquities is already available on Lulu, and we are watching with excitement as it continues rolling out to additional platforms. If you do not see it everywhere right away, please know it is on its way.

The third book, Sequins: A Dorchester Sisters Novel, is my current writing project. This story has been especially meaningful to develop, and I am excited to keep shaping the heart, depth, family legacy, and suspense woven throughout the Dorchester world.

Once Sequins is complete, I will move into the first two books in our tween mystery series with my teen co-authors. This project is close to my heart because it gives young voices a seat at the creative table. After that, we will begin the next five kids’ chapter books, and I will also start the Dorchester Family Legacy series. There is so much storytelling ahead, and each project has its own special purpose.

We would also love to hear from you. If there is a city, bookstore, festival, school, library, conference, homeschool group, classroom, or special event where you would love to see us, please reach out and let us know. From book updates and website news to future appearances, events, school visits, and reader opportunities, this season is about connection as much as it is about publishing.

We are building more than a book list. We are building a community of readers, families, educators, librarians, and friends who believe in stories that encourage imagination, courage, curiosity, and joy. Some stories are meant to make children laugh. Some are meant to help them feel brave. Some are meant to remind families where they come from and what they carry forward. I am grateful every day that I get to create these stories, and even more grateful that you are walking this journey with us.

Thank you again for your support, encouragement, patience, and kindness as these next books continue making their way into the world. We have had a few bumps along this publishing journey, but every kind word, every share, every purchase, every review, every message, and every bit of encouragement reminds us why this work matters. We truly hope you love the books that are coming your way, and we cannot wait to keep growing this community with you, one Monday Moment at a time.

Until Next Time,

Signed M. G.
