Monday Moments with M. G. #34: Kids’ Website, Shopify Store & Sequins Update

Happy Monday, friends, and welcome back to another edition of Monday Moments with M. G. This week feels especially exciting because so many long-awaited pieces are finally moving from “almost there” to “it’s live!” These are the moments that remind me why the patient, behind-the-scenes work matters. Every correction, every upload, every product listing, and every final check brings us closer to sharing more stories, resources, and fun with our readers.

The biggest news this week is that the kids’ website is officially live! Visit it as www.mglkids.com and let us know what you think. We are so happy to have a dedicated online home for young readers, families, educators, librarians, and everyone who wants to follow the children’s books, activities, updates, and upcoming opportunities. It has been such a joy watching this space come together, and I cannot wait for it to keep growing as more books, events, and reader resources are added.

Our Shopify store is also live, which means readers and supporters now have another way to connect with M. G. L. books and merchandise. This store gives us a place to share items connected to the books, the brand, and the community we are building together. It is one more step toward making everything easier to find, easier to support, and easier to celebrate.

On the writing side, Sequins: A Dorchester Sisters Novel is almost finished! This third book in the trilogy has carried so much heart, history, family legacy, and emotion, and I am grateful for the time it has taken to bring the story together with care. I know many of you have been waiting for this next Dorchester Sisters chapter, and I am excited to be so close to the finish line.

Once Sequins is complete, the creative calendar continues with the first two books in our tween mystery series, written with my teen co-authors. That project is especially meaningful because it gives young voices a seat at the storytelling table. After that, we will move into the next five children’s chapter books and begin work on the Dorchester Family Legacy series. There is a lot ahead, and each project has its own special purpose.

In case you missed it, all five children’s books are live and available at Lulu, and that continues to be a milestone worth celebrating. We are also watching for the books to appear through additional retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other platforms. These stories make wonderful gifts for young readers, classroom libraries, homeschool shelves, birthday surprises, and family reading time.

Antiquities is also beginning to go live, and we are thrilled to see it making its way into the world. New releases take time to populate across platforms, retailers, and listing pages, so please be patient with us as the rollout continues. Every new book carries a mix of excitement, nerves, celebration, and gratitude, and this one is no different.
