Social Media Day

Happy Social Media Day! Today is all about connection and we’d like to celebrate the amazing community we share right here in our own digital world corner at M. G. Lorraine Media, LLC. Whether you’re unraveling a mystery, escaping into a fantasy realm, or deep into your favorite new smut and murder novel, there is something magical about the way books can bring us together.
The world of social media changed the way we experience different stories together. An author’s connection to her readers, before the internet, was limited to in person book signings and book tours. Today, if I want to share with you a favorite book quote, author, or even recipe, it just takes minutes and minimal planning.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a reader, reviewer, or an author, social media gives us a space to chat about and share our favorite tropes, behind-the scenes writing moments, and the stories that keep us sleepless and spellbound.
It is also one of the sweetest reminders that stories do not end when we close the book. They keep going in the group chats, the comment sections, the shared posts, the late-night messages that say, “You have to read this,” and the reviews that somehow make our TBR piles taller than we will ever admit out loud.
At M. G. Lorraine Media, LLC, we love being part of that conversation. We love seeing readers discover new authors, authors cheering each other on, and book lovers finding people who understand exactly why one chapter can turn into five more before bed. Social media gives us a place to celebrate the messy drafts, the polished releases, the cover reveals, the character obsessions, and every tiny moment in between.
So today, we are raising a virtual toast to the posts that make us laugh, the recommendations that wreck us in the best way, the readers who show up, and the creative community that keeps stories alive long after the last page. Thank you for being here, for sharing what you love, and for making this digital corner feel a little more like home.
Until Next Time,
